Intimate Cartography is the traditional and digital paintings, comics, writings, and sexual health work of Alex Grandstaff, a white queer disabled artist, writer, and educator from Houston, Texas.  Their work dreams the queer intimacy, joy and eroticism they long to see in the world through figurative watercolors and sequential art. Their watercolors focus on sensuality and community between humans and nature.  Their sequential art creates accessible, engaging and inclusive sex education instruction and erotica that centers the belief that knowledge is pleasure. Their sexual health practice is founded on the belief that understanding the "Whys" that shape our landscapes of desire builds connection and intimacy between us.
