North CNC

About

"North CNC" is a collaborative venture formed in 2017 by artists Bryan Cope and Dustin North.  Both of our formal backgrounds are heavily rooted in creating custom fine art in a variety of mediums (Painting, Muralism, Photography, Mixed Media, Drawing, Printmaking, Wood working, Digital Art, and Sculpting).  Our combined experience covers a wide array of skill sets acquired over the years; including Stencil Art, Street Art, Mural Art, Architectural Design, Carpentry, Laser CNC Programing, General Construction, Interior Design, 3D fabrication, and Digital Drafting.

Our concept with the endeavour was to combine our formal training, acquired skill sets, and wide array of aesthetic understandings to create unique designs for a variety of clients, situations, and environments.  Our combined efforts create things that neither one of us would create on our own.  The collaboration challenges us both to push ourselves and continually evolve our craft.  From assisting other artists with designs, to creating unique concepts for local and national businesses.  Our speciality is creating custom artisan designs to add pop and flare to any environment using 2D and/ or 3D mediums.  The end result is unique stencil art, decorative panels, custom signs, fine art, product lines, architectural elements, and murals.

At North CNC we believe that any concept can not only be manifested, but improved upon.  We believe every problem has a creative solution.  By passionately and endlessly discovering these solutions we continue to grow, both individually and as a collaborative team.  Most importantly we believe in quality not quantity, and we take joy in creating projects that are unlike anything we have made previously.  We both have an extremely high level of attention to detail, and we both enjoy the creative process in its entirety from start to finish. Every movement of the brush, pen, saw, or laser is an emotional expression of deeply felt contemplation and carefully crafted plans.

For site specific designs we start the process by visiting the location and thoroughly reviewing the intended message and intention of the requested concept.  We then photograph and take on site measurements to begin designing.  This process will consist of a combination of hand sketches and digital mock ups until the vision comes into form.  Our finalized proposal consists of a “to scale” digital render placed on the environment photographs.  To execute the finalized design we use a combination of methods and techniques; from traditional forms of street art and stencil art, to more contemporary and technical “drafting” styles.  The end result has a mixture of hard lines, soft fades, and a carefully thought out color palette.  Our designs tend to be intricate, original, eye catching, and always true to the initial theme of a project.  We also take pride in our ability to make the end result true to the digital concept render.

The fact that we are passionate about what we do and love every step of the process is (and should be) obvious in the end result of any finished project.
