About

Art is playful, art is fun. When I paint, I explore the world of color. I break with reality, transposing the real world onto the canvas alive in vibrant colors that have nothing to do with the dull world of “reality.” I paint to express my inner self, to make the world a better place, in my own way. My creative process has emerged like a child growing up; as if I had turned the mirror away from me to reflect the world at large.

I find the exploration of the theme, technique and medium of each work to be a vital part of my process. My style has evolved over time, influenced by the great masters of the past as well as by the innovations of fellow contemporary artists. I am also very motivated by new artistic mediums that are being invented and used in the art world today. The drawing of each piece is therapeutic; while the playfulness of using new techniques combined with the traditional is always fun and challenging. The modern world with all of its people, problems, and innovations can be very inspiring!
